About our school
Swarthmore Friends Nursery School is a small private preschool under the care of Swarthmore Friends Meeting. Our school year runs from mid-September to the end of May, with school breaks similar to the local school district, the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District.
PLAY
Play is an integral tool within our school. Children learn through play, developing cognitive skills, physical abilities, new vocabulary, social skills, and literacy skills, as well as a strong sense of self, empathy for others, and nonviolent conflict resolution.

Included in our school activities are:
Indoor free play
